Cut along the layers, travertine shows straight bands. Cut across them, it turns cloudy and open. The same block can give you either.

Filled or open
Open travertine keeps its natural holes; filled travertine takes on the colour of the filler. Ask for a sample that shows the edges as well as the face.

Inside or out
A table, a bath, a floor and a terrace each need a different thickness and finish. Tell us where it goes and we suggest the cut and finish to match.
