For this house we made a carved shell bath, the curved entrance stair with its shaped first step, and the inlaid floor at its foot. The stair treads were laid out in sequence in the workshop and numbered before they were crated and shipped.

Materials

We send photographs of the stone actually available for your piece, so you choose from real stone rather than a catalogue swatch. Marble, natural quartzite, granite, travertine, limestone and onyx.

Taj Mahal quartzite
Natural quartzite in warm cream with soft gold movement, for islands, vanity tops and counters.
Prada Green marble
Deep green with fine white veins. Best where one piece leads the room: a table, a vanity, a fireplace.
Calacatta Viola marble
Ivory broken by burgundy veins. No two slabs match, so we plan the cut with you.
Workshop & inspection
You see it before it ships.
Before packing, we photograph the finished pieces, laid out where joints or veining run on from one piece to the next. You approve what you see, then it is crated.

Make & ship
Produce
Where it matters, we send drawings or dry-lay photos for your approval before cutting continues.
Deliver
Pieces are marked, crated and photographed before dispatch, on a shipping schedule agreed in advance.
