Design setting · a natural stone entrance courtyard
01 / WALLING FORMATS
Compare three ways to build the pattern.
Freeform pieces, rectangular courses and linear faces create different surfaces. These customer installation photographs show how the pattern and joints change the finished wall.
Customer installation · freeform stone walling
Freeform & random walling
Irregular outlines create an organic surface. Use a pale blend for a restrained backdrop or introduce stronger tonal variation for a more expressive wall.
Review the size mix, joint width and face relief together. Loose pieces allow the installer to compose the pattern on site.
Customer installation · coursed stone walling
Coursed & rectangular walling
Rectangular pieces introduce a more ordered rhythm while retaining the character of natural stone. Consider entrances, building bases and substantial feature walls.
Agree course heights, length variation and corner treatment. A sample panel should show the intended bond and mortar colour.
Customer installation · linear stone walling
Linear & ledgestone effects
Longer horizontal faces emphasise the architecture. Warm or cool blends can connect garden walls with fireplaces and interior feature surfaces.
Confirm whether the design needs individual pieces or a panel system. Tight-looking joints do not by themselves define the installation method.
STONE SELECTION
Sandstone & limestone walling.
Compare these three selections, or send a reference for another colour or format. Each enquiry carries the stone name and code so our team can follow up with the relevant options.
CTS-S1 · White sandstone · product presentation
White sandstone
Pale sandstone with a naturally textured face. Review individual piece dimensions and the intended coursing for a calm, substantial wall.
Compare a broad selection in daylight, including the lightest and darkest pieces. A single small sample cannot show the full blend.
Texture, joints & shadow
The face depth, joint width and mortar colour change the finished appearance. Agree a sample panel before releasing the main order.
Loose pieces or panels
Specify the supply format, back finish, thickness range and unit weight. Confirm dimensions and handling around the supporting wall design.
Corners, openings & caps
Measure flat areas separately from external corners, returns, reveals and wall caps. Coordinate these details before final quantities.
03 / PROJECT SUPPLY
Selection, packing & delivery.
We review the stone blend, quantities and packing requirements with you before confirming the supply package. The workshop and packing photographs below illustrate loose-stone handling and preparation for dispatch.
Loose stone pieces · workshop arrangement
Review the blend before dispatch.
Agree the face texture, size range and colour variation. For repeat areas, use an approved sample panel and batch photographs as the shared reference.
Loose stone · crate packing record
Plan the delivery around installation.
Confirm packaging, package weights, quantities and unloading arrangements. Keep corners and special pieces identifiable in the packing list.
Individual pieces for natural stone wall cladding, arranged by the installer. It does not mean gravel. In US enquiries this may be described as natural stone veneer; Australian projects often use stone walling or random walling.
Can the same look continue indoors?
Yes, the material direction can connect a facade or courtyard with an interior feature wall or fireplace surround. Confirm suitability, thickness and the installation detail separately for each location.
Is all walling suitable for every exterior?
Selection depends on the stone, climate, exposure and wall system. Tell us the project location and provide the specification or required test criteria. Do not assume one finish or fixing detail suits every site.
What should I send for a quotation?
Include an inspiration image, approximate wall area, destination and timing. For a project quotation, add elevations, flat areas, corner lengths, caps, opening details and the required supply format.
