How we work
From the slab
to the crate.
A piece made to order runs through five steps. At each point where the decision is yours, you see photographs before we go on.
01 / Select
Choose from the actual slabs.
Start with a reference or a colour direction. We send photographs of the slabs or blocks available, and for a piece made to order you confirm the stone before anything is cut.

02 / Draw
Drawn before it is cut.
Your reference or drawings become stone drawings: dimensions, visible faces, edges, openings and joints. You mark them up, we revise them, and production starts from the version you approve.
Design and drawing support03 / Quote
A quote you can compare line by line.
Send the drawings or references, quantities, destination and your deadline. We quote each piece, mark anything provisional, and price alternatives where you ask for them. Lead time depends on the piece, the quantity and how complex it is: usually about 20 days, and a little over a week for simple pieces.
04 / Make
Cut by machine, finished by hand.
Your pieces are made in our own factories in Nan'an and Yixian, or by a partner factory working to our standard. Slabs are cut to the drawing, shaped and carved by machine where the form needs it, then profiled and finished by hand. For repeat pieces, we photograph the first finished piece for your review before the rest of the batch.

04 / Make · Lay out
Laid out before it is packed.
Where the order includes pieces that have to meet, on a floor, a wall, a stair or a fountain, we lay them out and check them against the drawing. Joints, sequence and the run of the veining are settled while the stone is still in the workshop.

04 / Make · Approve
What you see before it ships.
Our quality director and inspectors have checked stone for export since the 1990s. Before packing, they inspect the finished pieces to our standard, whether they were made in our own factories or a partner's, and we send you photographs to approve. Packing starts only after you confirm.
- 01
Dimensions
Key dimensions checked against the drawing.
- 02
Openings and edges
Close-ups of drain and tap holes, cut-outs, profiles, corners and joints.
- 03

Close-ups of the polish, hone or texture you specified.
- 04

05 / Ship
Packed for the piece, shipped on your terms.
Pieces are lined, braced and crated to suit their shape and weight, in plywood crates that need no fumigation or in treated solid timber, as agreed for the order and its price. Crate marking is agreed with you and matched to the packing list, so the site team can find a piece without opening every box.

- Terms
- Usually FOB, CNF or DDP; EXW, FCA, CIF and DAP on request.
- Part loads
- Every part load we ship DDP is insured. Check the crates when they arrive and note any damage when you sign; we take the insurance claim from there. If your own forwarder ships a part load, claims go through them.
- Full containers
- One container can carry a whole project: baths, vanities, walling and flooring packed together. We load every full container ourselves, whoever books the freight. If pieces arrive damaged, we replace or refund them in full.
