01 / The Australian stair
From the workshop floor to the hall.
Each curved tread is a different shape. We laid them out in sequence and numbered them before packing, so the installer could set them in order. The risers carry brass scrolls and rosettes set into the marble.
02 / Exterior steps
Granite treads for outside.
Textured granite treads and risers from another order: the batch, a width check against the drawing, and the crate. A textured face keeps outdoor steps safer underfoot.

A schedule, not one size
Curved and winder treads all differ. Send plans and sections, and we cut from a numbered schedule rather than one repeated size.

Nosing and visible ends
Choose the nosing profile and mark which ends and edges stay visible, so the finish goes where it is seen.

Inlay and joints
Where an inlay crosses a joint, or a tread is wider than the slab, we show you where the joints fall before cutting.

Weight and fixing
Solid treads are heavy. Your engineer or installer confirms the structure and fixing. We estimate the weights with the quote and confirm them before shipping.
