Compare Italian ivory and silver selections, light Turkish travertine, and Iranian red, gold and silver directions. Origin is a starting point: the quarry, block and cut determine the material you approve.

Compare quartzite and granite for working surfaces, or marble where its character and care suit the brief. Resolve slab size, seams, edge build-up and appliance cut-outs before allocating stone.
Read the pattern across the complete form: a bowl, curved rim, table base or vanity return. Consider stone thickness, weight, joints and the relationship between honed, polished or textured surfaces.
Build a connected palette for floors, walls, stairs and outdoor areas. The same appearance may need different finishes. Review wear, moisture, slip and climate requirements for the selected stone.
