Start with the finished rim height, bowl diameter and usable depth. Add the tap and waste fitting drawings, then resolve the bowl-to-pedestal interface and service access inside the base.

- Review the proposed material across bowl and base, including the visible junction and vein orientation

- Specify bowl, rim and outer-face finishes; review a finish sample and care requirements

- Provide fitting drawings, spout position and reach before drain or tap openings are set

Resolve the bowl-to-base junction.
Define the seating surface, alignment and connection between the bowl and pedestal in the drawing. Resolve support, joint appearance and the assembly sequence together.
Give the waste a service route.
Locate the waste outlet and trap against the floor or wall connection. Review how fittings can be installed, inspected and replaced once the pedestal is in position. Mark the required access opening or removal sequence before the base construction is approved.
Position the tap over the usable bowl.
Provide the selected tap drawing and the proposed spout height and projection. Check where the water lands within the bowl and the clearance for hands. Decide on wall, floor or adjacent-surface mounting before locating holes; review the waste fitting and overflow arrangement at the same stage.
Define the installation interface.
The installer should review the supporting floor, pedestal footprint and any wall or floor restraint needed for the chosen design. Identify fixing positions, service clearances and the order of assembly in the approved installation detail.
Set the range for repeated pieces.
For multiple basins, identify a first piece for dimensional and finish review before repeating the design. Compare the proposed stone range across the order and decide how much movement or colour variation is acceptable. Use item or room codes to distinguish matching sets from separate material selections.
Review the piece before dispatch.
Request the agreed overall and bowl measurements, rim and junction close-ups, and fitting-opening checks against the approved drawing. Link the piece identification to its packing record. Confirm protection, package weights and the unloading plan for the destination before release.
